RC still working on it. Might mean using a waiver claim.

Agreed, if he's on LTIR just for the cap hit, and the rest of his roster is full, I'm fine with this. this ^

Let me know when the RC makes a decision. Might have to make some decisions accordingly.

LTIR doesn't count towards Cap........IR does. Players put on LTIR are put there to help teams gain cap flexibility so LTIR wouldn't help you reach the floor. IR would tho and we are discussing this. When we come to a decision about dropped players everyone will be the first to know

LTIR does count on cap. ...
But you gain flexibility by having shadow space to use - spreadsheet does all of this to ease understanding

IT doesn't if they are against the cap guess I should have been more specific sorry my b
Placing a player on LTIR only provides relief if the team’s cap payroll or “Averaged Club Salary” begins to exceed the upper limit. The amount of LTI relief is limited to the amount by which the team has exceeded the upper limit â less the amount of cap space the team had at the time the LTIR transaction took place. That means the amount of LTI relief is not the entire amount of the injured player’s salary, although teams often make small transactions to ensure it is close.
BASIC IN-SEASON EXAMPLE The upper limit is $70.0M. A team has a cap payroll or Averaged Club Salary of $69.0M on the day a player with a $4.0M cap hit is placed on LTIR. The team is now eligible to spend up to a new upper limit of $73.0M ($69.0M + $4.0M).
