For me it's gotta go to BOS. Unfortunately, me too. I hate being involved in any of these deals nominated. I'd arguably take Rask or Forbort over Hoffman taking salaries/position into account, and all three prospects look like they will have some NHL involvement. It wasn't so bad when McCormick was putting up periphs..... but yeah... not great.

Genuinely surprised not to see my name as an assailant here. After the deals with CGY and NYI I was sure one would be in here.. But these are pretty bad too

Surprised my Hudler deal never made it. That was the only move all year I wish I could take back and it was ugly

I'm going to make the case for Arizona, at least Boston got a top 20 fantrax player at his position. Arizona gave up a couple of borderline 1st line players and more for a handful of scrubs.

Cliff shouldn't have added the 1st --> but that deal doesn't come close to the other two.
Imo it's ARI. Really good contracts and prospect and...

I voted for Grogs raping Li as well. Grogs got better the players, prospects and picks, that's 0 for 3 on the rationalization scale.
It's very hard to narrow in down to just three haha. there were a lot of deals worthy of a nod here, all mentioned above could be here, these just made our cut.

I'd disagree. Dion is a beast, currently 7th most impactful by FT and Parise currently ranks 64th on the impact ratings but has played 10-15 games less than most above him, which means he still is a top 60W or in other words, a first line W. Gardiner is not a great h2h Dman, hits are low, bs are low, almost no shtoi, sog are medium and his point totals, although a career high, aren't high enough to overlook his shortcomings else where. Strome, although great of late, looks to be a prospect that won't meet his former high potential. If it was simply Dion + Parise for Gardiner + Strome, it's a bad beat but understandable due to cap, adding a nice recent first round prospect and a first rounder on top of a loss, well that's a milbury. IMO anyways.
ARI trade is just gross haha. I don't think Cliff's trade or former BOS guy's trade come close.

Agreed. Boston trade is a distant 3rd to me in this race. Out of the 3 deals up for vote here that was the only deal where the offending GM got an impactful piece back.

*fixed. I'd take a milbury just to make a trade right now.

Hoffman is good sure, but look at that package my god. Rask is a young, cheap 2C with upside, Forbort is a young, cheap, waiver exempt periph god, Lauzon and Bjork are both great specs, and Cehlarik is pretty good too.
