Hey RC, I've got a question about waivers: according to section 5.e.iii of the CBA, "A claimed player goes to your active roster and is added to your cap so you must have room in order for a claim to be valid".
I'm just looking for clarification on this, since if I were to make a claim while I have 92K in space I don't appear to have room to add a player. However, if I have the potential to fit the cap space by the next roster lock and so all my roster submissions are legal, is that good enough? I guess I'm looking for clarity on the specifics of the "have room in order for a claim to be valid" part.

You would be fine to make the claim. We allow teams to go over cap midweek through a trade for example with the stipulation being you must be legal by the next lock. In the case of waivers you cannot make a claim if you're at 50 contracts, but to exceed cap I see no problem. It's as if an NHL team makes a paper transaction sending someone down midweek after winning a player to stay legal on paper or save cash.

Ok thanks. Also, that ruling came back faster than some video goal reviews, nice work!
