Congratulations to the 2016/17 Winnipeg Jets on becoming the 2nd ADHL Stanley Cup Champion
The Winnipeg Jets had a lot of prove this season after losing in the ADHL Conference Finals 6-10 by the hands of the Calgary Flames.
Winnipeg put together a very strong season finishing 4th overall and 1st in the Central Division finishing 3 points above the Chicago Blackhawks with a record of 60 wins 19 losses and 3 ties
With Winnipeg over the past 2 seasons moving out almost every top prospect and both 2016 + 2017 1sts,2nds,3rds and 4ths bringing in Duncan Keith and Josh Morrissey stepping up to play his first full season the pressure was on to win before their window started to close

1st Round
NSH – WPG
Winnipeg giving a new meaning to Smashville by completely embarrassing the Nashville Predators taking G,PIM,SOG,PPP,RE,HIT,BLK,GSS,TOISH,GPT6,GAA,SV and SV% sending them home crying to their mamas, The only even part of this series that was even was the skaters NSH with 54 players to WPG’s 52 which makes Nashville look like a little bitch here. Winnipeg moves on with ease
Winnipeg wins 13-2
2nd Round
CHI – WPG
Winnipeg started off as their fans hoped and expected with strong team play
Bryan Little putting 2G 3A 5PT and Jonathan Bernier posting .97 GAA and .967 SV
Chicago was making it a close series and just as doubt begins to set in Winnipeg brushes them aside as they curb stomp Chicago’s dreams taking G,A,PT,PIM,PPP,HIT,BLK,TOISH,GPT6,GAA and SV% beating Chicago 12-4
3rd Round
EDM – WPG
Confidence is high in Winnipeg as they walk to the conference finals having 62 skaters to EDM’s 57
With an easy first couple rounds the well rested Winnipeg Jets are in for a battle only taking G,PIM,SOG,HIT,BLK,GSS and TOISH
With WPG taking the HIT category by 4 + TOISH by less than 4m Winnipeg was lucky to win this
Winnipeg wins 8.5-7.5
Stanley Cup Final
WPG – OTT
Ottawa laughing as this starts with a massive 134 players to Winnipeg’s 113 thinking he has a major advantage but only managing to take PIM,SOG,PIM,HIT,FOW,GSS,TOISH and SV and barely losing G,A and PT categories is what robbed them of their first Stanley Cup
Winnipeg holds off with 2 more goals, 3 more assits , 3 more points and a huge RE to steal the series.
An Impressive victory to win on a tie breaker given the advantage Ottawa had
WPG wins 8-8 (tie breaker)
