31 - Philadelphia Flyers 27 - Calgary Flames
Games Played Requirements from the CBA -Each team must meet a yearly GP requirement for skaters and a yearly starts minimum for goalies -GP are accrued during the ADHL regular season only -Skater minimum GP requirement for this season is 950 GP -For every 10 GP short of the threshold, 1 standing point will be added to that teams total -An additional .1 standing point will be added to all teams that miss as well -New standings order goes for all picks for teams that miss, not just 1st round picks. -Teams that miss the skater GP threshold will also be barred from certain lottery wins, based on which tier they fall into using the following chart: -935-949 = Barred from winning #1. Drops to #2 with lottery win otherwise wherever they land, they stay. -920-934 = Barred from #1 and #2. Would drop to at least #3 with any lottery drawing win. -905-919 = Barred from any lottery position. Would drop to at least #4 with any lottery win and behind compliant teams with lottery drawing wins. -890-904 = Same as previous tier but with an additional post lottery adjustment of dropping 3 spots. -889 or less = Same as previous tier but with a post lottery adjustment of dropping 6 spots. GM's status within league is up for review. -Note that team that miss GP and are barred from certain lottery wins may not slide into those spots either -Each team is subject to a goalie GP limit, both minimum and maximum -GP refers to games started at all times, a relief appearance does not count towards the limits -Goalie maximum weekly GP limit is 4 games started. -Once a team has its goalies accrue a total of 4 starts in a given matchup, the goalie who makes the 5th start is forcibly moved to the bench and their stats are thrown out for the week. It is highly recommended that you do not roster 2 starting NHL goaltenders at the risk of frequently losing goalie stats. -Ex: You start Bishop+MAF in a given week. The duo reaches 4 games started during a matchup by Thursday. Bishop then starts a game (5th start for the roster during the matchup) on Friday. He is forcibly moved to the bench and all his stats for the matchup are removed. If MAF makes 5 starts on his own during the matchup then he is moved to the bench as well at which point all goalie stats are removed for the matchup and the team loses all goalie categories. -A team may go over the weekly limit of 4 goalie starts if all starts are from players on the same NHL team. If a team starts goalies from more than 1 NHL team then the hard limit of 4 goalie starts in one week applies at all times. -No exception given if a goalie is traded mid-week -Weekly limit is double (8) during any matchups that span more than 1 week (7 days) -Goalie maximum regular season GP limit is 75 games started -Goalie playoff weekly GP limit is 4 GP -This number doubles to 8 starts during the 2 week championship matchup -Goalie minimum season GP limit is 35 GP -For every 1 GP short of the threshold, 1 standing point will be added to that teams total -An additional .1 standing point will be added to all teams that miss as well -New standings order goes for all picks for teams that miss, not just 1st round picks. -Teams that miss the goalie GP threshold will also be barred from certain lottery wins, based on which tier they fall into using the following chart: -30-34 = Barred from winning #1. Drops to #2 with lottery win otherwise wherever they land, they stay. -25-29 = Barred from #1 and #2. Would drop to at least #3 with any lottery drawing win. -20-24 = Barred from any lottery position. Would drop to at least #4 with any lottery win and behind compliant teams with lottery drawing wins. -10-19 = Same as previous tier but with an additional post lottery adjustment of dropping 3 spots. -9 or less = Same as previous tier but with a post lottery adjustment of dropping 6 spots. GM's status within league is up for review. -In the event a team misses both skater and goalie GP the penalties will stack -For example if a team lands in the 1st tier for both skater and goalie GP misses, they will be assessed a penalty of the 2nd tier (1+1=2) -For example if a team lands in the 2nd tier for one and the 1st tier for the other, they will be assessed a penalty of the 3rd tier (2+1=3)

Note1: Philadelphia penalized for missing Goalie Starts with a total of 31 by adding 4.1 standings points for a new total of 118.1, which incidentally won't alter their position as they do not jump any other division champion. Note2: Penalty to NJ reduced from Barred from #1,2,3 + Post adj. down 6 spots (all rounds) to Barred from #1,2,3 due to GM joining midseason and having no chance of reaching the mark when they took over the team.

How come the Leafs finished 6th and not 3rd? Am I missing something?

How come the Leafs finished 6th and not 3rd? Am I missing something? Seeding, they're 3rd in their division so playing the 2 in that division. Doesn't mean much honestly. Division winners play the wildcard, and 2v3 from each division. OTT in 3 means TOR in 6 so they play each other.

Proper listing should have me in 3rd regardless of division rank for playoff format. But ya, get to face 2nd place... haha... wish I was in the pacific!!!

Down 6 spots all rounds! Cause my previous owner was a no show, damn. That's gonna keep these shittier tms shittier for longer. New to the league but that seems like a rather harsh punishment that probably came about by some previous tms previously purposely tanking and this came about to discourage that. What about the new managers that come in a leg down?

What about the new managers that come in a leg down? AFAIK you had 2 months or so to gain GP, from what I remember you did make mostly GP positive moves with limited time and resources. without getting rid of valuable assets just to chase a target that wasn't reachable for you. gonna have to have a discussion about this

What about the new managers that come in a leg down? FWIW it's only the NJ picks you own. So any other teams picks are unaffected. Your punishment was discussed within RC (I stayed out of it for obvious reasons), no consensus was made but maybe they will revisit that conversation as we are getting closer to the draft.

I feel like a desicion would need to be made before the lottery, not the draft. I know I'd be pissed if I won the 1st due to others missing gp, but then was told 2 months later they decided to reverse the punishment.
